Three complete suites stacked across a private three-story building, a short walk from the Marina Puerto Los Cabos — when booked as a full building, Tormenta Suites belongs entirely to your group. Nine bedrooms, three independent kitchens, a private pool, and a rooftop terrace with a full bar and views that sweep across the Sea of Cortez, the marina, the city, and the sierra. No shared amenities. No other guests. Just your party and the whole building.

Completed in summer 2024, Tormenta was built for the kind of trips that require real space: multi-family getaways, large friend groups, sport fishing crews, corporate retreats, or any gathering where people want their own floor but don't want to be split across three different properties.

Modern Design / Architecture

The building has a Baja coastal identity expressed in its materials and detail work rather than any single dramatic gesture. Travertine tile floors run throughout all three levels. Kitchens are fitted with dark mahogany cabinetry and granite countertops. Nautical artwork — marlin prints, ceramic fish, anchor motifs — carries a consistent coastal thread from the ground floor to the rooftop without becoming a theme.

Each floor has its own character. The ground-level suite (101) has the most traditional Baja presence: ornate wrought iron window grilles, a bedroom that opens to a covered outdoor patio, and hand-painted talavera tilework and a hammered copper sink in the guest bath. The second floor (202) is more open and social, anchored by the building's widest sofa configuration and a solid walnut primary bedroom set. The third floor (303) takes the most architectural risk and delivers: frosted glass panels set between curved plaster columns define the living area in a way that reads more like a private lounge than a standard condo.

Living Spaces

Each suite operates as a fully independent home — open living, dining, and kitchen in easy conversation, no wasted corridor space. On the third floor, the kitchen is set behind a granite pass-through bar with leather barstools, so whoever's cooking stays part of the room. Every suite has its own Smart TV, split A/C in living areas and bedrooms, and a dining table that seats the full unit.

Bedrooms

Nine queen bedrooms total — three per floor — each with individual A/C and blackout shades. On the third floor, two bedrooms share a private balcony overlooking a wide palm canopy, with the Sea of Cortez visible at the horizon. The third-floor primary suite has the most considered finish in the building: walnut furniture, frosted glass panel doorways, and the best bathroom on any floor.

Kitchens

Three fully equipped kitchens — each with gas range, LG refrigerator, microwave, granite countertops, and full cookware. Groups can cook together, keep meals independent by floor, or anything in between. The $100 grocery credit toward our online store is a good starting point for a pre-stocked arrival.

Pool & Outdoor Living

The private pool sits at the upper level of the property, accessible exclusively to Tormenta guests — no outside building access. Above it, the rooftop terrace is where the building earns its location: a full bar, outdoor grill, and lounge seating with 360-degree views spanning the Sea of Cortez, the Marina Puerto Los Cabos, the city, and the sierra to the north. Early mornings with coffee. Late nights under the stars. Every hour in between.

Location & Community

Tormenta is a short walk from the Marina Puerto Los Cabos, where sport fishing charters depart before sunrise, waterfront restaurants open for lunch, and water taxis connect to beach clubs along the coast. The historic downtown Art District — gallery streets, local restaurants, mezcal bars — is a few minutes further. On Thursday evenings, San José's weekly Art Walk takes over Calle Obregón with gallery openings, live music, street food, and a mix of locals and visitors that makes it one of the better standing traditions in Baja.

El Ganzo, Crania, and the marina's broader dining strip are all within easy reach for groups moving between spots throughout the trip.
