During this popular event, the Gallery Art District comes alive with color and creativity. What can I expect at the Art Walk in San Jose Del Cabo?

As a bonus, you can enjoy a glass of wine or spirits as you take in the atmosphere. This popular event is great for people of all ages, especially families! It’s a chance to meet artists, attend new exhibits, and experience a side of Los Cabos that you don’t want to miss.

The idea of the Art Walk was to attract art lovers and tourists to the area. There is a variety of types of art, from paintings and sculptures to ceramics, photography and folk art. The artists are recognized by plaques posted on each gallery.

If you miss out on the Art Walk, don’t worry! You can visit the Art District at any time. A majority of the shops and galleries are open every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

When is the Art Walk in San José del Cabo?

The Art Walk happens every Thursday evening, beginning in November and running through June. From 5 to 9 p.m., visitors can stroll through the Art District and see the incredible exhibits and meet with artists.

Where is the Art Walk?

The Art Walk in San José del Cabo takes place in the Gallery Art District. Obregon Street, which is hidden behind the church off of Plaza Mijares, is closed to traffic to give visitors the opportunity to enjoy the walk.

Where should I park?

If you’re driving from Cabo San Lucas or the Corridor, your best bet is to park on Calle Centenario, which is the boulevard that runs behind downtown. Parking close to the foot of Morelos Street gives you easy access to the Art Walk.

What are some other things to do in the Art District?

Plan to arrive early, then enjoy dinner at one of the delicious places to eat in the Art District. The area is home to some of the finest restaurants in Los Cabos, and some even feature live music! Some of the best restaurants to dine at are Baja Brewing Restaurant, Don Rodrigo and Don Sanchez. Baja Brewing Company is the first microbrewery in Los Cabos! It features a beautiful outdoor beer garden where you can order wood-fired pizza and enjoy live music. Don Rodrigo is popular for both locals and visitors because of its unique set-up and authentic Mexican cuisine. Don Sanchez offers contemporary Mexican cuisine and a fine wine selection of over 300 labels!</br clear=”right”>

For a special treat, try Lupita’s, which has “gourmet” tacos and a great atmosphere. Making reservations for dinner is recommended because of how busy dining on Thursday nights is.
